A large flock of hawks flew over Stevats before the storm. Avis Lark looked upward as the birds flew with stealth, hell bent in a southwesterly destination. He’d never known hawks to fly in a flock. They were hunters, birds of prey. He hoped there would be an article in the Stevats’ Chronicle to explain it but wouldn’t hold his breath.
